About Steve Sappington

Steve Sappington grew up on a wheat farm in southwestern Oklahoma. Graduating magna cum laude from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1973, Steve also has a Master's degree in education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Steve first began investing with his father when they bought wheat futures to hedge their crop prices, and Steve bought his first mutual fund in the late 1970's. (more...)
